What are some of the ongoing challenges with machine readable files (MRFs)?
Here are a few of the common challenges within price transparency data. Payerset takes care of each of these (and more!) as part of our standard parsing and enrichment processes:
- • Sheer volume: up to 300 TB of new data each month
- • Inconsistent schemas: payers change field names without notice
- • Ghost or 'zombie' rates: rates for services a provider doesn't actually perform
